The line chart clearly reflects the striking changes in the proportion of residents’ health literacy level in our nation from 2011 to 2021. Specifically speaking, the proportion of health literacy rose gradually from 8.80% in 2012 to 10.25% in 2015. In the next six years, there was a sharp rise in the percentage of health literacy, reaching 25.40% in 2021.

It can be concluded that people’s health literacy has improved greatly over the years. There are a couple of driving forces behind the dramatic change. At the top of the list, with the pandemic continuing, awareness of people’s health and self-protection has promoted, so a growing number of people spend their more time and energy on personal health. Secondly, residents’ rising health literacy has much to do with the enhancement of their living standards.

For another, traditional culture is also the national image of our country and gives an impressive image to the outside world.

It is imperative for us to conduct concrete measures for protection and inheritance of traditional cultures without any dely. Firstly, a large-scale education campaign, combined with various interesting traditional and cultural activities, should be launched to inform the public of the importance of protecting traditional cultures.
